Joan qualified with an Honours degree in Dentistry from UCC and worked as a Senior House Officer in the Oral and Maxillo-facial Department of the North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary. She gained experience in all aspects of general dentistry while working in private practice for eight years in the
UK. Joan joined Chapelizod Dental in 1998.
In 2000, she was awarded the Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from Trinity College and in 2012, the Membership in General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Joan has served as secretary on the committee of the Metropolitan Branch of the Irish Dental Association and as secretary of the Irish Dental Benevolent Society.

Martin graduated from UCC in 2021. He has an interest in all aspects of dentistry. He is a member of the Irish Dental Association and regularly attends courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques. Outside of dentistry, he has a keen interest in Sport including Hurling, Hockey and Golf.
